Pacific City's South Tillamook County Library is the pride and joy of our community. Housed in the new Winkelman Library Building,
our full service facility is rivaled by none. Newly completed in 1995, the entire facility was built by donations, fund raisers, and grants.
We are proud to say no tax money was used and we remain self supporting through our Thrift Shop.
We offer a variety of services including:
Story Hour for the kids every Tuesday at 4:00 pm
1000's of books on every subject
Magazines and Paperbacks
Computerized County Library Search System
A computer room with free internet access
A children's section with tables and chairs for the little ones
A study/research area with table and chairs
A lounge area with comfortable chairs
Commercial Photocopier for self serve use by the public
Magazine Index
We subscribe to EBSCO HOST, an online service that provides access to over 4000 magazine, journal and newspaper articles.
Many of these articles are available in "full text" versions and can be printed immediately or emailed home.
Oregonian Index
We carry the Oregonian on-line back to 1922, so you can search for articles on a particular subject and print them right away.
